Legit if it's a vehicle that survived the Heresy they refuse to take them out, even things like Scorpius Whirlwinds, which are just mobile artillery tanks lol. A good chunk of those common super heavies, and even normal tanks STC's are lost as well, so they act really crazy about their vehicles.
